Founded in 2005, Kamibashi works with artisans in villages in northern Thailand to produce The String Doll Gang, a line of 200+ characters that include everything and everyone from Shelly the mermaid to AstroNeil and AstroNell the astronauts. Each string doll comes attached to a keyring and lobster clip, and has his or her name and good luck power written on a fabric tag that is attached to the keyring.
