Cielo Hammocks is a socially driven organization that seeks to alleviate poverty, promote gender equality and drive social change through the preservation and innovation of ancient Mayan hammock weaving tradition.



We are social impact entrepreneurs who recognize incredible economic disparity in Mexico and the world and have set ourselves to do our part starting in our community. A driving force for our business is the opportunity to change the lives of so many women and children. Our work in the community as well as the local governments, academic institutions and NGOs further amplifies our impact promoting Education as a catalyzer to break out of the poverty cycle.
