The Fashion Revolution was started following the Rana Plaza building collapse in 2013 in Bangladesh where 1,138 people died and 2,500 were injured.
In support of the revolution, people around the world are using their voice and power to tell brands that things must change. They won’t stop until every garment worker is seen, heard, paid properly and working in safe conditions.
The fair trade movement has been working to achieve the same levels of transparency and respect for workers. Buying from FTF verified businesses, you can ensure that the artisans making the products you buy are paid and treated fairly.
