From February 19-28, 2010 journey to Guatemala
with MayaWorks
and meet a variety of Mayans involved in
women's economic and education issues and to
learn first-hand about their lives. Enjoy
the incredible beauty of Guatemala and to
reflect with the group on our "one world"
connections.
Writers, students, teachers, artists, managers, clergy and social workers from all over the United States have journeyed with MayaWorks. Over the course of the days together, groups forge bonds of friendship with each other and a shared commitment to the women of Guatemala and MayaWorks.
The cost for the Journey is $1,450. The cost includes all hotel accommodations (double occupancy); ground transportation; all meals; and bi-lingual guide.
To hold a spot send a $150 non refundable deposit to MayaWorks, 1732 W. Hubbard, Ste 1A, Chicago, IL 60622.
Spanish fluency is not required to attend a tour.
