FTF works with a number of partner organizations to enhance fair trade worldwide.  Through financial and in-kind support, non-governmental organizations which seek to enhance fair trade - but are not engaged in trading - work with FTF to develop projects, to promote responsible consumerism, and to further the empowerment of artisans and farmers in developing countries.

  • International Fair Trade Association - the global network of Fair Trade Organizations, their mission is to improve the livelihoods and well being of disadvantaged producers by linking and promoting fair trade organizations, and speaking out for greater justice in world trade. 
  • Asia Fair Trade Forum - Representing more than 70 social enterprises in 9 countries, AFTF acts as a regional network of IFAT and caters to the particular needs of the entire Asian continent.
  • Cooperation for Fair Trade In Africa - Currently composed of over 60 member organizations from 18 African countries, COFTA acts as a regional network of IFAT and caters to the particular needs of the African continent.
  • European Fair Trade Association - An association of 11 fair trade importers in 9 European Countries, EFTA supports its members in their work and encourages them to cooperate and coordinate. It facilitates the exchange of information and networking and identifies and develops joint projects.
  • La Asociacion Latinoamericana de Comercio Justo - IFAT-LA acts as a regional network of IFAT of over 40 member organizations and caters to the particular needs of Mexico, South and Central America, and the Caribbean.
  •  Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International - An association of 21 labeling initiatives and 3 producer networks, FLO certifies products and sets standards for specific fair trade items. It regularly inspects and certifies about 508 producer organizations in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
